When last we saw our yarn heroine, Frangia-
had resolved all her difficulties and the lovely copper tresses were about to be knitted together with the unique purple/blue multi fiber blend and it looked like they would live happily ever after as a Christmas gift for my son’s girlfriend.
Alas, it was not to be. Oh, the yarn is just fine and I have cast on for a sideways scarf which I think will show off both yarns beautifully. No, the problem is that my son no longer has a girlfriend. Now it’s just another orphan WIP. Plus, there’s no urgency to get it done for Christmas.
Not to mention it’s made my Holiday plans go all awry and has put him into a sad blue funk- but that’s another matter altogether.
I still have to finish it by the end of the year because it’s on my Mission Possible list.
Also on that list is the scarf I have been knitting since January. I went to knitch on Friday and worked on it for the whole 2 hours I was there- I was too brain dead to do the math to figure out where exactly I was with the decreases on my sweater sleeve which was the other project I had with me- and I measured it on the table on Saturday morning and IT”S STILL ONLY 40 !@#$%^& INCHES!
Yes I’m screaming. You’d scream too.
